Hi Maxcatch Team, Got my Toro reel 3/4, took little less then 20 days to ship it to Europe. Carefully paked and came with two presents, Thank you !! My first impression, this reel looks good and the Quality is in my opinion verry good. No play, runs verry smooth, the click sound is verry silent. This reel can easily compete with other well know brands. Gonna use this with a 7''- #3 rod, and had 50yard micro backing, and a Sunnray fly line 90Ft. Fits perfect. Thank you very much Best regards

Got this reel today right on time. Reel looks and functions perfectly. I loaded it work line, nymph line, and attached it to my maxcatch nymph rod and caught a few trout. Super easy to swap too right hand retrieve. I love this tell. Looks amazing. I absolutely recommend this and other maxcatch products. UPDATE: took this real trophy fishing today, it was the first time the drag really HAD to be engaged and worked like a charm. I landed ten trout over 20 inches all 4-8 pounds. Loving this reel more and more!!

Been a little while since I had ordered a rod from maxcatch. No problems, I just have a large collection of their tackle already. I have many of their glass rods as well. Each size of ultraglass, one uniglass, and two unicglass rods. I knew immediately that I had to grab one of their new bluewave rods. I had been on the lookout for an 8wt glass rod. I an super impressed. Build quality is excellent. It is a tip over butt ferrule design instead of the spigot ferrules of the other ultraglass sizes. It is smooth and powerful. Plenty of power to throw heavy flies and sinking lines but still deep flexing and has that glass feel. It is a little heavy but I didn't notice it much when casting. If you are looking for a nice and capable 8wt glass rod that doesn't break the bank then look no further. I will be fishing it quite a bit in the future. It may become my go to bass rod. Thanks!

Purchased this rod in 6 wt. with the recommended Pro Rose Gold 5-7 reel. I love MaxCatch products and both are nicely made and very fun for fall/winter steelhead here on the northern California coast. But I found the 5-7 reel to be too light and poorly balanced with the 6 wt. rod. Recommend a little heavier reel, maybe the 7-9 or some other model. Recommend both the reel and rods. Awesome service!

For a beginner fly fisher my Premier 5wt rods are a bit stiff and unforgiven, however when paired with a slight overweight line such as Rio Gold it out performs my Aleka, Orvis and Reddington rods particularly in windy conditions. Excellent back up rod that surprised a number of experienced clients. Would not hesitate to purchase another. Recommend! Chris

I have bought a 9' 5# weight rod with Avid 5-6 reel. I was surprised first how fast Maxcatch delivered the goods and secondly the free gifts! I also satisfied with Maxcatch communication. First day after setting my combo caught 2 pcs asp. The rod working very impressive, not only at casts but handling big fishes too. I paralelly using 200 grn skagit head too for predators and caught several asp zander and barsch.
