I bought Maxcatch 5wt after great consideration and trying to feel the weight and movement of each of the rods in several fly fishing outfitters.

I can easily say that I don' t need to shop for 5 wt's again. This rod is light, casts great, butt design is special and fishes great. For best casting, I found  that going up a weight helps, i.e. using a WF6F with the 5 wt rod.

I have had the unfortunate breakage when traveling but the warranty service was superb.

I wish other sporting goods companies honored such a no fault lifetime warranty!
