As all purpose fly rods, they've been exceedingly hefty. I ordered from Maxcatch website. This rod is subtle, light, and very

responsive, At 9 feet, this rod is the most popular length out there. The only time I really want my 6' rod is if I'm going to be

backpacking in for several days and weight is a major issue.

this rod has some backbone, balances perfect with the Toro I paired it with. If you feel better paying double or triple be my guest
